Here at IGAS Tours our goal is to educate on the great world of fungi. Although I focus on identifying and finding choice edible mushrooms, my true interests lie in the complete ecology of the forest and the delicate balance that these fungi play. Whether you are a homeowner hoping to identify mushrooms popping up in your yard, a cook desiring to try mushrooms that are just not available in stores, a health or nature enthusiast who enjoys identifying things while you walk or exercise, or someone who simply thinks they're beautiful and would like to photograph them. Be prepared to have all your myco- dreams achieved.
As a certified wild mushroom vendor I do sell fresh foraged goods, I also provide private educational tours, lead forays, do property sustainability assessment, and will speak at events.

The last Sunday of each month we get together and explore new ecosystems and attempt to find delicious mushrooms. You will learn how to identify what is currently growing and learn about the environments.

Sometimes 2 hours just isn't enough. Choose this in addition to your tour to add more time. Also choose this option in circumstances that a $50 charge is applicable. ex: sales, added charges such as fuel, short lectures

Every so often we offer camping adventures. This selection can also be used for any add-ons to a purchase that come out to $100. Often our camping will also have a separate post, our Halloween Adventure ad was just taken down but can still be ordered here on Halloween
Did you know that many fungi, plants, and even animals are biofluorescent?! We explore the wonders of the night using a 365 nanometer UV light. It is preferred that you also provide your own and carry a regular flashlight for the best experience. At least one will be available per group.
