Afternoon Foraging Hike  

Kick off the hunt with an exhilarating hike through the woods, where you’ll learn to locate and gather wild edible mushrooms, like the sought-after chanterelle. Mushroom expert Steven Landseadel will be your guide and teach you how to identify various culinary species of fungi as well as the poisonous varieties to avoid. These delectable fungi will be the highlight of our autumn harvest feast, crafted from your foraged finds!

After Dark Exploration

As darkness envelops the forest, we’ll embark on a eerie UV light night walk. Discover the enchanting fluorescence of fungi, lichens, and plants, revealing vibrant colors that come alive in the dark. This is a unique opportunity to witness nature’s hidden wonders!

Spooky Campfire Tales

Gather around the campfire for an evening of chilling mushroom stories from deep within the forest. Share your own tales or simply listen as the crackling fire illuminates the shadows, setting the perfect backdrop for spine-tingling adventures.

Morning Foray 

As dawn breaks, we’ll rise for another mushroom foray lead by Mycologist Steven Landseadel, exploring a different environment and expanding our knowledge of the fascinating fungi that thrive in the wild.
